Arthur Irwin Launder (1895-1977) was a prominent Seattle engineer and patron of the arts who also was very active in promoting the development of the local classical music scene. A graduate of Stanford University, Launder worked for the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company as a traffic facilities supervisor during the 1920s.
